Hi, my friend’s mom was adopted from Lithuania. Her bithname and surname is Yadviga Savlan. She was born in Latvia in the Trakai region on September 20, 1969. (09/20/1969.) She was adopted in 1973 in Tbilisi.
In adoption papers which are is in Russian it says city Alexandrishka (or Alexansrishkiu) andas it days it’s region of Trakai. Trakai can be googled but not Alexandrishka. Was it part of Trakai before?

What can be done to find her biologal parents? Do you have any groups also where adoptees search for parents?

Thank you in advance. Any information will help because we know nothing about Lithuanian system. 🙏🙏

  3. Aleksandriškes is not far from trakai, but i believe it was maybe street name in trakai, i try to dig a little bit more

    The birthplace is village of Aleksandriškės , the coordinates( 54.5646893, 24.7476191 ).
    I have no experience with soviet paperwork but I can read and google.
