Hi, up until now I was looking mainly at US companies for employment even though I want to move to Poland. I was going to seek help from an incubator to legalize my stay as a self employed contractor. I applied to maybe 25 Polish jobs in total (and around 150 us jobs) and haven’t gotten any responses from any Polish employers. I thought maybe through reddit things may be different?

I’m learning Polish at the moment as well as Polish history and culture. I intend to make Poland my home. I’m not too worried about salary as long as its near market rate for Poland.
Sorry if this kind of post isn’t allowed, I’m just getting really desperate. I’d love to be able to move to Poland earlier than I expected (November/December)!

Most Polish IT companies work for foreign clients and English is often even the standard language of communication with the clients. The problem seems to be you very remote address, they probably get so many resumes, that it is easier to just stick to local guys. Remove the part about you being physically in Ireland right now, so they don’t even think about it and it should be better.
