Very nice change to the statue though
I don’t know how others feel. But I have a horrible ‘fear of heights’ that gives me a type of vertigo and makes me feel sick. So just *looking at a photo* of those amazing workers sitting up on the very top of the shield freaks me out! And they look perfectly at ease and busy working. There is also a worker standing inside the shield looking out. It astonishes me that people can do this work at this height.

This soviet monument should have been demolished years ago. Even with the trident, it is still an ugly soviet relic.
