5. Not being ageist but this happens a lot with elderly drivers. Happened my Grandad about 10yrs ago. He was late 70’s, and my friends grandad who was a similar age too.

   Unfortunately elderly people need the family to step in and call it when they are too old to be safe on the road. It’s a really tough call to make because you are taking away their independence.

   A head on collision at anything over 30mph is likely going to be fatal. The risk of death x 4 with every 10mph increase after that.

7. Where did they manage to actually get on going the wrong way? All the slips on and off the link have traffic on them 99% of the time.

8. It wasn’t just the one; I was on the N40 myself that day and I was having to dodge *dozens* of eejits, all going the wrong way!

9. Holy fukin shit, imagine driving home with the kids and seeing him/her/shim driving straight for you…fukin.hell! And the gonk is in the fast lane to boot, so anyone overtaking or in an ‘illegal’ rush is comin the other way at the bare minimum 120km 

   I saw a granny doing this last month, poor dear didn’t know wtf was going on but at least she was only driving 5km per hour… This cunt is ploughing it!
