  1. They clearly have no idea for a solution to a problem they went BIG on during the elections. They really do not know what they are doing.

  2. >“We need to reduce the pull factor of illegal criminal gangs getting people to this country, basically abusing the system.”

What I read here is that the preferred gangs are saturated with cheap labour and they don’t want the overflow to go to the competing gangs.

Now they are likely figuring out how to get VIP lane corporations to profit off of this.

  3. Priti Patel already wasted a few million quid looking into this idea back in 2020.

They are literally just out of gas at this point aren’t they.

  4. Ffs this government has gone completely insane, I can hardly believe what I’m hearing

  5. Next proposal:

We will send small boat arrivals to an island with an active volcano, and sacrifice them to the fire gods for help, because we don’t have a fucking clue what we’re doing at this point, so may as well try human sacrifice.

  6. This was literally an idea that was proposed a few decades ago.

Not for asylum seekers. For pedophiles.

Not by the Tories. By the BNP.

    Think of that….

  7. This wouldn’t be necessary if London lawyers like Keir Starmer didn’t keep taking the government to court, where un-elected woke judges find the government’s plans are illegal.

It’s very clear the British People want this vile people smuggling trade to stop and if it is necessary to send Labour voters to the Ascension Islands to ensure another 5 years of Conservative rule, so be it.

Edited to add – if you actually read this far, please stop and think before commenting.

  8. Even by the most corrupt and brain rotted of Tory standards, how far down the list of potential solutions to the small boats issue do you have to go before you reach ‘I dunno just send them to an Island in the middle of the Atlantic?’.

  9. What would this solve? Literally still uk territory so even the right would be unhappy.

  10. That’s just ridiculous and expensive. Although Australia has a stop the boats policy, theirs seems to be working effectively. Australian policy has been to turn the boats away from Australian waters and to relocate the illegal migrants to an offshore detention centre.
