I saw that and remembered my trips down the Aonach Eagach thinking “There but for the grace of God, go I” – it’s a formidable challenge, even experienced folk can get caught out by a random gust of wind – I know I’ll never do it again, but I’ll remember the experience forever.
My heart goes out to the fallen, but more to their families. We all have to go at some time, I hope their family and friends can take some small comfort from know that they were following a passion that can give amazing joy and happiness.
