Taxi has been parked in my parking spot since Thursday. Have left a note but no one has been near it. Contacted management company but they were zero help. Taxi isn’t even registered when I checked the driver check app. Not sure what to do now.

  1. Get back onto the management company and ask them locate you another space until their problem with this taxi driver is resolved.

  2. Unlicensed taxi? Public safety issue? Maybe call the gardai

  3. Have it towed. Unlicensed taxi which is already dodgy and its parked where it shouldn’t be.

Alternatively call the management company again and tell them its being towed tomorrow at (pick a time) and its their problem after that

Edit to add: if you have any mechanic friends, some have the trolleys for under the wheels. Jack car onto them and just slide it out of your spot to somewhere else

  4. If its in a private apartment parking block none of the authorities will touch it. If you own your home then you need to make life hell for the management company. If you rent you need to push your landlord to push them.

Alternatively buy a pair of wheel dollys and move it out to the middle of the “road” part of the garage. That’ll motivate them.

  5. Get a jack and put biscuit tin lids under the wheels and just slide it out of your spot.

  6. The drivers name comes up when you put the details into the website as opposed to the app for some reason.

  7. Call a tow company and make them take it away. Simple as

  8. Sounds like one of those unpleasant movie plot twists. 😬

  9. As others have said kick up a stink with the management company, this is literally what you pay them your yearly fee for

  10. Sell it to some scumbags, they’ll get it outta there no bother.

  11. It could belong to Michael O’Leary – he apparently has cars registered as taxis simply so he can use bus lanes legally.

  12. You could phone the taxi company and tell them one of their taxis will be towed tomorrow if it’s still in your space.

  13. Dismantle it, sell the parts as spares on EBay.
