Na. Can’t be true. No working class person has money to do anything except sit in their flats wearing newspaper, eating dust. Even the idea that there’s people drinking in pub or going on holiday is just bullshit.

Skegness here I come!
It’s so obvious why it happens there. Skegness (and by a large extent, the entire east Lincolnshire coast) is incredibly seasonal. Not only is the coastal work seasonal, but the inland work is also heavily seasonal in the area being a highly agricultural county. Economic outlooks in the area are dire (I know this as I used to teach in the area). Children have very few prospects with many colleges being over an hour away by bus and universities in the county almost non existent (other than Lincoln, which is quite far inland).
Add to this the area, especially Ingoldmells being 99% cheap holidays, which unfortunately doesn’t always attract the best crowd, and you have a recipe for disaster.
A Quiet seaside town is not a Village I recall its a town.
Was going say local Granny Gang doing hard crime.
But nah just drunken yobs and no police.
Most seaside towns in the UK are highly deprived unfortunately.
