














I do not like the tomato peel in the lecso so I do not cut it into cubes – like this I can remove the peel after a few minutes of simmer in the pot.
The only seasoning I use is Hungarian paprika powder and salt.
The lecso is really versatile dish. The lecso itself is bellpepper, onion and tomato cooked together with paprika powder and salt.
You can cook some scrampbled eggs into it and you will have tojásos lecsó. Best with fresh bread for breakfast or dinner.
Or add a bit more liquid and cook rice into it. Perfect for lunch.
And also like we had today with frankfurter (or any other type you prefer) and pasta.

Cool. Thanks for sharing it step by step. I also made something simillar in Ro ( and tried also adding vurry and it ended up pretty good, not wow but good)
