I am sorry, but what the fuck? The units led by Putin’s body guard are only now getting permission to play big boy toys? How afraid of an assassination by his own circle can he get?
Might be worth Putin reading up on how many Roman Emperors were killed by their own bodyguards
“Double down” must be Putin’s motto. 250,000 dead and he’s still doing it.
Yes, but who will protect Putin against traitors in Rosgvardia? Rumor has it that Putin has plans to secretly arm the Russian postal service as a safeguard against that….and in case they have traitors he will arm the personell of the Moscow Metro system. Just in case, because there are traitors EVERYWHERE!
With wagner gone, I guess it is straight to the front for them?
Well, that’s heavy weaponry they need at the front.
Putin, like always, thinks Russia’s resources are limitless and allocates then willy-nilly, spreading then even thinner…
He’s still not learnt that he cannot trust any figures they show him, he’ll end up waiting for “Steiner’s attack” to fix everything.
Thank God, we are lucky he’s a tiny stupid man, and not the 5D chess master his legendportrayed him as.

If Putin can’t trust his former chef, what makes him think he can trust his former bodyguard?
Putin can’t have one of his military organisations be way stronger than the others. Otherwise the most powerful organisation could take control over the country. That’s what you get if you abandon democracy and the rule of law.
With Wagner gone and the regular army having the monopoly on military power, I’m astonished it took them so long to actually arm another organisation.
This is a good thing. Diverts vital equipment away from the front and stalls it unused in Moscow. It will likely require technicians, expertise, etc, keeping all that in Moscow too and creating shortages elsewhere.
Guess which Putin will prioritise for new T-90s and the like? His personal defences or the nation’s “defence” force?
Might also mean any coup will require full commitment if the alternative is being wiped out by a militarily capable force.
