This is a classic arson/demolition by a landowner who wants to be rid of an inconvenient listed building. South Staffs Council need to grow a paid and order its complete rebuild
As others have said, the speen in which it was demolished following the fire, seems blatant removal of an inconvenient building to build something more lucrative. If the site is not restored, it needs to have a permanent order preventing any other kind of development.
