I’m sure all the people here who will take the piss never had a wife, daughter, mother or any other female loved one (thansk be to God) stalked, harassed, raped, or killed by an undocumented person who has come into irelend with no background check.

We can mock them all we want, but until we sort our immigration policies out, more and more people are going to become resentful of refugees/immigrants and turn to the far right, because all parties refuse to address immigration concerns.
I’ve no doubt these are the types of groups that like to start countless threads on here and similiar subs with the same *everything is awful* stuff in an attempt to spread more fear, anxiety and disinformation.
These are the cunts targeting libraries. Target the weakest link to give them oxygen and broad national coverage. They should be fucked out and given barring orders and ongoing fines like yer man in the west.

The rise of populism and the far right is really scary. It’s not just Ireland it’s literally everywhere, clearly something is going wrong. I think the lefts consistent focus on engaging in culture wars and pushing through draconian hate speech laws rather than focusing on real issues affecting most people is helping the right’s cause ten fold, as is social media manipulation.

Super interesting listen. The kinds of conversations he brings up are also being had in public telegram groups. Homophobia/transphobia and racism are rampant in some of them. Calls to violence are there too. I saw one of them who wanted to see Varadkars birth certificate.
Conspiracy theories are rife, and although not everyone talks about it, they all seem to believe one or more conspiracy theories. Antisemitism and anti Islam sentiments are discussed often. Qanon theories are common too.
Of course this is more damning since its an official private telegram group for an actual party.
They just need to get laid but that option is off the table now
