Hello from across the Baltic sea! Many years ago, I saw a Swedish travel program, and the episode about Estonia taught me a lot. For example like 80% of my Estonian vocabulary, it consists of:
“Ärkasin ulesse, peksin pihku, pauk lendas vastu tähe lippu”. – Words spoken by a very drunk Estonian “poet” in Tallinn, late 2005. 🙂
But apart from that.. It also introduced me to a truly great Estonian song, that I have spent so much time trying to find. But it seems close to impossible, and considering this part of the show was filmed in some remote parts. I believe it might be in dialect or something, or just very local. And therefore so difficult to find?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. If someone could just transcript the lyrics, or just some keyword. That would mean a lot!
I add a Youtube link to the episode here, the song is at 32:12: [https://youtu.be/\_dDep1MEKqM?t=2052](https://youtu.be/_dDep1MEKqM?t=2052)
(And an honourable mention, the poet in Tallinn is at 17:20 in the clip)
