Any ideas why Poland has such a low rate of Covid19 cases? Restriction regime is among 4th lightest in Europe. Vaccination rate – not exceptional, population density – quite high.

  1. Covid suddenly vanished when Putin invaded Ukraine and hasn’t been heard from since. Some say he moved to Donbas.

  2. There are a few possible explanations, of which the most believable (IMO) is a relatively low rate of testing.

  3. It’s notification rate. A lot of people just didn’t go to the doctor. Most later variants were weaker than tonsillitis and few hours in bed was enough. I personally had it twice and now I had it only because I did a test. Otherwise I would’ve thought it was a cold. Even fever wasn’t that high.
