Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu: A story of a snake in human skin

On the 6th of February 2023, at 04:17, a Mw 7.8 earthquake struck southern and central Turkey and northern and western Syria. The following days many countries offered and sent assistance to help civilians and rescue operations.

This also included GCs in Republic of Cyprus wanting to send water, blankets and other materials. To move the water bottles TC and GC groups came together to transport them to the north, in order toinclude them in the aid package that would be sent to Turkey from north of Cyprus. However it was not allowed and people including an American diplomat ( *Brian* C. *Phelps* ), tried to use their limit to transport personal goods worth up to € 260 (stated as 135 in the report), to bring the bottles to the north.

However, they were still not allowed, with the border control stating that the system was down and no one could cross. Although they eventually managed to cross some using other crossings, or crossing as an individual. After initially being blocked these were the reactions from people there:

So what did actually happen? Did the system really crash?

In summary Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu ordered for the aid to not be allowed in stating that “Motherland did not come to this game, neither will I, I have no authority”. He claimed the aid to be some sinister political propaganda.

Here is a news report on the aftermath of the situation when Harmanci the mayor of north Nicosia called out Ertuğruloğlu.

Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, who made statements to YENİDÜZEN, interpreted Harmancı’s statements as “he either did not read or did not understand our statement” and confirmed that they do not accept humanitarian aid. “Turkey rejects the offers from the south, since Turkey does not accept this, why and according to what should I accept this offer”, Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu said, claiming that the Republic of Cyprus is playing an insidious game under the name of ‘humanitarian aid’.
Ertuğruloğlu also responded to the reactions shown to him and said, “Since when did it become a political skill to distort events for the sake of populism by making the event a political material”.Ertuğruloğlu noted that Turkey is aware of the ‘game’ of the Republic of Cyprus and said, “the so-called Republic of Cyprus government is trying to put into effect an insidious plan, Turkey did not accept it, and we will not accept it either”. “How can I accept the aid that Turkey has not accepted”, the Foreign Minister said, adding that “I have no such authority”. Claiming that the offer of the Republic of Cyprus was not a humanitarian offer, the Minister concluded his words as follows: “I will not play the game played by those who intend to play this game, I cannot understand what they achieve by vilifying me.”

With the unearthing of military reports and pictures captured by their agents of the civilians, we can see the snake Ertuğruloğlu is. Probably top 5 worst people in Cyprus. In case of unification we shall deport him to the Paphos pirates, they can do whatever they want with him.
