That was surprisingly fast for our slow goverment.
Unfortunately Germany’s parliament has not agreed to do this, and a Ukrainian MP saying they have done so isn’t going to get the missiles.
Everyone get your “Kerch Bridge on fire” videos queued up!
Not official yet, but sounds like it will happen

>“My friends in the Bundestag (German parliament) have just informed me that the key parliamentary factions have reached a consensus on the transfer of Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine,” he said.

>The decision would mark a change from July 11, when German Defense Minister announced that the country had no plans to transfer the Taurus missiles to Ukraine. That statement was criticized by several Bundestag members.
GJ whichever German politician twisted the leadership’s arm to make this happen (assuming it does).
For people thinking about a certain bridge.

Wow, this is a huge U-turn if it happens.
…[Just last week](https://www.thedefensepost.com/2023/08/03/germany-long-range-missiles-ukraine/?expand_article=1) they were saying they wouldn’t be supplying these as Ukraine had no urgent need for them (which is obviously nonsense).
