4 years ago, in Salzburg, I tasted a pastry that I loved!
Now I’m back in Austria and I’m desperately trying to find it again, without success.
Maybe you could help me find its name? 🥰
I’ve only got this photo if it helps.
It was a sort of huge cinamon roll, and it didn’t taste like chocolate!

The pic looks like a “Mohnstrudel”
Looks like a weird “Mohnschnecke”.
So a cinnamon roll but with poppy seeds instead of cinnamon as the defining ingredient.
Similar pastries would be “Mohnstrudel” or “(Waldviertler) Mohnzelten”.
Irgendwas mit Mohn gibts doch eh an jeder Ecke.
Ist called Mohnzelten. It’s quite common, but not all of them are good. Some mass manufactured ones from the supermarket taste too sweet I think.
