We are reporting on our trip to the animal shelter and the treats that the redditors passed on to the cats and dogs. Every first Sunday of the month, B50 volunteers change the rubble removal in villages around Kyiv for the shelter’s bombed-out enclosures and pet therapy.

Traditionally, on the [first Sunday](https://b50.com.ua/en/activities-en/care-en/fluffy-sunday-en/) of the month, we go to the Best Friends animal shelter, where we help to dismantle the cages and enclosures destroyed by shelling (new comfortable enclosures are being built to replace them) and spend time with cats, dogs, and horses. This is the energy that recharges us for the whole month.
This time, we also brought some treats for the animals, donated by you, dear redditors. For your donations, which you provided specifically for animals, we bought cats and dogs some tasty treats and took them to the shelter together with everything we bought and collected during the month.
It was a hot day, the road to the shelter in the middle of nowhere was easy, no car got stuck 🙂 The cats were lying lazily on their catio, while the volunteers were energetically breaking down the old cages.
