Hi, I want to adopt a cat from Nikiti and I couldn’t really find something useful online. I am from Bulgaria and came by car and I wonder how can I take a cat from Greece to Bulgaria? I know they need to have a passport but is that all? Would it need to be vaccinated or anything else?

Take the kitten to a local vet for a general health check and basic de-worming. They’ll probably know what documentation you need to take the kitten home with you, and they’ll direct you on what else may need to be done. If the cat needs a microchip, vaccination and pet health documents in order to travel (which they probably will, although since you’re travelling by car control may not be as strict in that regard), in my experience it’s a simple and quick process that any vet should be able to do for you within an hour or less.
