A unit can have anywhere between 300 to 3,000 soldiers. That is not the case here, so the title is quite misleading.
That article is about a milblogger who posted in his Telegram that 16 Russian soldiers and two officers went missing during the Ukrainian raid, including a “Major Tomov” who accompanied the enlisted troops to check the positions in question.
Considering this happened in Ukraine, Russian army should contact the Kherson oblast emergency services and state the location their soldiers were last seen at. Authorities will take it from there.
Not misding, They’re properly accounted for in the ” losses” column.
This story is actually weird as hell, because apparently a Russian telegram source released pictures of the Major as a PoW in Ukrainian hands.
How did they get those pictures? Are they legit? If not, what kind of weirdass game are they playing?
