The account posts lots of before and after photos of Warsaw if you’re interested.
A lot of the old architecture of Warsaw got bombed into the Stone Age, broken beyond repair.
Also, to rebuild Warsaw after the war many other structures in other cities were used as building material, so unfortunately Poland has lost A LOT of cool buildings during and after the war.
As beautiful as those old buildings were, the new ones aren’t shabby either. Think the clearly different seasons these depict detracts a lot. There are trees there today as well, you can see them in the picture if you look closely, but it was clearly taken in the colder months, so keep that in mind before judging.
Tho, speaking of Marszałkowska, something really needs to be done about Constitution Square, or rather that silly parking in the middle thereof. Not to forget that opposite of these buildings you have the equally bad looking parking spots in front of the Palace.
But yeah, these buildings? Really not an issue whatsoever.
