Infrastructure wise, that’s fucking excellent for the time. Grass verge, decent concrete footpaths, full utilities, tall aerials on every roof and a well paved road to boot.
Somehow this was possible half a century ago, but now not so much.
Weird that given the difference in economic output and government budgets between now and then. If you take modern attitudes about the past, this according to some this would only have been possible using wattle and mud instead of concrete.
