I have similar doors to you it seems, and these lads get into the door frame quite often. With the seals though, they cannot get into the house while the door is closed.

Harmless but they’ll be tearing around the place, trying to get the ride, this time of year. I just leave the cellar spiders do their thing around the house and they catch these guys for me…

Last time I was in Ireland, the same kind of spider just decided to hitch a ride on my shoulder in the house I was staying at. Glanced over at it and screamed. Apparently they’re harmless but it was massive.
