  1. Not sure if this falls under ‘s7 – YouTube/video restrictions’ so feel free to remove it. I just thought it was interesting and relevant.

  2. I do wonder how much of the NHS is already private. Community nursing provided by Virgin, GP’s being private and paid per patient and per treatment (I was told they get £15 per Covid vaccine, not sure if true), scanning machines in nhs hospitals owned/run by private companies etc etc. I never seen any actual stats on it though.

  3. Highest cause of Bankruptcies in the US being Medical Bills!

I never knew that… this video actually presents a lot of interesting stuff.

  4. Well that was depressingly informative.

This country is just so screwed. The Tories have **a lot** to answer for, as do the people who vote for them.

  5. Welcome to the tory government.

2021: the year our vices, our obesity, smoking, drinking became terrifying.

Seriously though, most workplaces are offering new employees private healthcare (BUPA etc.) so if you are disabled you are safer working (wtf)

  6. The NHS will always be there, in what form is the key question. Chances are the NHS as we know it will offer a very basic service that is used by the poorest and is stretched to breaking point even more so than the NHS currently is. It will be the private system that offers efficient care, however I suspect even that will have tiers within it, so that the more you pay, the better care you receive.
