I recently found a letter I think was my grandfathers and I don’t know hungarian.
It would be awesome if someone can translate this for me.
Would be deeply appreciated.

  1. Dear kids,

From my poem book “Life is good”, that I haven’t finished yet, I’m taking a piece out that I wrote for ____’s (Vera?) birthday without inspiration, here I am writing it on paper:

    “Dont count the years,

    Time goes by quickly,

Rather have a laugh, be happy

This way you can remain young”

    Dad, Mom

  2. I would have translated the poem part like this like this

    *”Do not count the years,*

    *For time rushes so quickly.*

*Instead, laugh, chuckle, and be joyful,*

*Thus you shall remain forever young.”*
