  3. “Water wars” and then take a town in Germany as an example is a bit too sensationalist for me.

  4. Once you get into regular water shortages, pools should be removed entirely. Unless they’re shared with the number of people’s water usage it reflects.

  5. Solution is super easy, as mentioned in the article. For every person that is registered in the household you have to pay very little for the normal average amount of water used per person, let’s even increase that by 50% just to take care of the outliers. But for everything above that you now exponentially increase what you have to pay. Oh you are using double the amount that everyone else uses? Pay 100% more on that. Oh you use even more than that? 200% more on that extra increase and so on. Incredibly easy to solve
