  1. I’m sure the Ukrainian government is depending on what little tax revenue they can generate.

People need to live. Businesses need to generate money so the owners can pay their employees. It’s pretty simple.

Shame on people for being so cold hearted.

  2. Well said and sadly there are many people want you to suffer which MUST be ignored

  3. She is right, but I wouldn’t be so hard on people who say these things. People can’t imagine what war is like in general and don’t have a full picture of the situation in Ukraine.

  4. In the West, the idiots have the loudest voices online. It’s sad, but true. Most of the opinions you will hear from everyday people are NOT what the majority feels. Intelligent people just don’t post as much on social media, and when they do it’s not their opinion. When my family sees Ukranians partying we say, “Russia will never defeat these people.” Do not be disheartened by the opinions of idiots. Ukraine has earned the admiration of the whole world for the way they are dealing with this savage war Russia has started.

  5. Is she Ukranian or is she an American/Canadian?

Her English sounds native, except how she pronounces Ukranian city names.

  6. I’m getting second hand embarrassment every time a fellow westerner says something like “i thought they’re at war” when they see a video from city 100s of kilometers away from the front

  7. This video is for wrong people.

People with a brain know it already.

People with damaged brain will not change their mind, because their brain are already been damanged. This is too hard to think.

  8. I think the conception of a country at war that “people” (whoever they are) expect is one at total war, with all population mobilized for weapon and supplies manufacturing, all economic activity and effort bent towards the task of victory.

But of course, even total war does not go that way because yes, life must go on.

  9. It makes me actually super happy to see photos or videos of (relatively) normal life in a lot of places in Ukraine. It tells me the countries economy and people (beyond the army) are super strong, I think that is super important to succeed in this war. And to be frank, it looks awesome (the non-bombed places), I want to travel there again, the sooner the better.

  10. It’s hard sometimes to grasp the divide between those suffering on the front lines, dying, seeing their friends blown up, sacrificing themselves and their time with their families, but at the same time others seemingly living it up.

  11. During World War 2, the US Navy had a ship, (or more properly a barge) that made ice cream. It could make 10 gallons of ice cream every 7 minutes. The Navy knew morale was very important.

Humans aren’t machines. They need to establish connections to keep functioning.

  12. Just wait until people hear about Paris being filled with soldiers on leave during WW2 at different times both German and allied. Trying to have sense of normalcy in war time is completely normal. You can’t live like an animal in fear every minute. Without breaks moral and hope disappears.

  13. Who the hell wishes suffering on anyone?

Honestly, I don’t even wish suffering on the Russians. They deservedly find it enough for themselves through their own barbarous actions
