  1. That was the point, to help keep businesses going, it should have been legislated that firms would have to repay it over a number of years though.

  2. What percent of businesses receiving Covid supports ended up unprofitable?

Would the businesses staying profitable not mean the scheme was a success?

  3. We love the cute hoor in Ireland. We keep electing them. They keep being cute hoors and we keep electing them and complaining about them and loving cute hoors.

It’s almost as if we want to always fail.

  4. Ach, I’m sure they would be about to ~gift~ sadly lose money to other Healy-Rae companies any day now (if repayment is likely to be requested).

  5. Kerry people vote for him, let them off

The County council in Kerry was found the most corrupt(or something like that) in Ireland which is all run by the Healy Rae

I would cut all grants to the county. It’s all ending up in the Healy Rae back pockets

These are the guys who bought up houses from Nama after Kerry people got kicked out of them.

  6. “Tánaiste Leo Varadkar said firms that have recorded “substantial profits” or are in a position to pay “substantial dividends” should refund money they received under the EWSS.”

If they want right? Because nobody’s gonna do shit about it.

  7. The Healy-Raes are the exemplar of what is wrong with Irish Politics.

I wouldn’t piss down their throat if their teeth were on fire.
