It was part of the process when we were adopting our Greyhound, the rescue wouldn’t allow us to take her if we hadn’t proof we’d applied for the licence.
I’m not sure how the process works for people buying pups from puppy farms, they are probably just unscrupulous arseholes.
I had one for my pooch.
I would imagine about 95% of dog owners do.
You need one when adopting, we did anyway, so I’d imagine most people do.
Yeah I have one, It’s a special form to fill in. (K9, available in the post office)
Got one when they liberalised the licencing regime.
Yes.
Nope, didn’t realise it was common to have one.
I have one, it’s only 20 euros a year. But this being Ireland, I imagine most people don’t.
Used to sell them when I worked in the Post Office, rarely ever sold any. That’s not to say that people didn’t buy them, I just didn’t get people at the counter that often buying them!
I don’t and I know lots other dog owners and they don’t. What’s the point of them? Its not like you have to complete a competency test to get one, hee chipped and registered anything other than that is needless tax
Yeah, he failed the theory a few times, but he passed his test first time. He’s a very good boy, he was very proud of his full dog licence
Got a licence to dog… and you know I’m dogging straight for your heart.
We do. All our neighbours do. Our dog warden is very proactive, good chap.
