9. Obviously this guy has fucked himself of any payment. BUT there is certainly a contingent in Ireland and most countries of thinking ‘the job doesnt exactly match what i had in my mind which i couldnt draw on paper so i dont feel i should pay’ even though an architect or landscaper would have made up drawings or plans of what would be done before it started. Obviously, the owner didn’t just say ah here gimme a few weeks ill sort you out. Very likely, the owner flat out refused to pay or was causing issues throughout.
   I dont say this condoning the builders’ actions but knowing a good few in that industry trying to survive with your own business and plenty of people cause trouble from day one so that on day 50 they can be like ‘well i knew this would be bad so im not paying full price’.
   Hopefully before this comes to light and we learn what was said 🤞🤞

    100% sympathy for the builder here, having a decade of experience in the construction industry it takes blood, sweat and tears to get something done and to have some cunt turn around and not pay its heart breaking.
