Very nice of them to call on ruzzia to stop “indiscriminate” attacks. Minor issue is that as per ruzzia, all of their attacks are ultraprecise and totally discriminate.
Business as usual as always with UN. Didn’t think there’d be an org more useless than the League of Nations but here we are.

Yet not concerned enough to demote them to observer status Since a member can’t technically be “removed”, that’s not removing them, just so they hold no more power to vote. If implemented, that leaves 4 on the Security Council. In the event of a tie, the UN SecGen can break the tie
Or, the UN can just continue to be “concerned”

Appalled? I’ve been appalled since the special operation happened. What about “never again” in reference to the holocaust? The world should have stepped in 100% long ago.
As we speak, a very strongly worded letter from UN is on its way to Putin. /s
The UN is as useful as my toilet paper. Why have rules when you cant enforce them? There has been nothing but *side eye* from this organisation. Have a war mongering country in its security council and have no power over it. Can and wont do anything but condemnation. I dont even know why countries still respect this institution since its only benefiting a handful of countries.

They were also appalled when an army violated a safe area they set up in the town of Srebrenica. And also in Rwanda when a genocidal army violated the deal they brokered.
They should rename the UN, the Chamber of Appalled Navel Gazers.
