Military strength ranking for European countries in 2021

    For instance south Korea is supposed to be stronger than France but afaik France has a far far higher capacity to deploy troops pretty much everywhere (lot of bases in pacific/Atlantic oceans, a proper aircraft carrier, …) while the south Korean army is built to fight against North Korea, I.e. locally.

    Australia is also supposed to be stronger than Israel. I also doubt that they can match the proficiency of the Israelian army. Those guys are fighting for their survival for decades now and they have the most militaristic society of the middle east (and a big advance on drones).

    I’m not saying that our army is top tier though. We have a lot to improve but that ranking is mainly bullshit. For instance, we are supposed to be the country specialized in mine clearance. That doesn’t look good on a ranking based on fire power but we don’t need to as we are not supposed to fight alone anyway.
