As summer is ending, we are already preparing for winter. Last time we raised enough for over 800 stoves thanks to Reddit, and we are still going. These stoves mean more than just heat, but also a place to cook, eat and come together for those that have lost nearly everything. THANK YOU REDDIT!

  1. We are a registered NGO in Ukraine and vetted by the mods here.

    We have a program right now where we are getting wood burning stoves to people in need, mostly in the Kherson region. $220 covers the cost of the stove, delivery, and installation and if you sponsor the full stove you can write a message of your choice on a plaque.

    u/musicdesignlife is our volunteer on the ground who set this all up and spent the last few weeks sourcing a manufacturer arranging the delivery, and overseeing everything to make it happen. He has been in Ukraine since March just volunteering and trying to help people and spending his own money.

    We are 100% volunteer and all of our donations go toward the supplies we distribute or the costs of directly helping people. However, one of the ways we have been able to be very effective is that we have a small group of outstanding volunteers who have been in Ukraine for months now. For them to keep doing what they do they need a bit of help to get their own winter gear and their own equipment and some help with expenses. If you choose to contribute to “volunteer expenses” on Paypal it goes to one long-term volunteer who has been in Ukraine at least 6 months. We have 3 we are trying to help right now. One oversees the stove project, one works with me on evacuating foreign fighters, and one is running around the country helping all the projects we have.
