Hi my Swiss friends!
I just arrived from Ireland and have been in contact with a health insurance provider and they have offered me the following health insurance package.
It’s 194CHF/month, I’m 25years, male, in Valais Canton.
The offer seems too low so I’m nervous it is missing something and doesn’t fully cover me, I’m scared of getting tricked.
For example, if I broke my arm skiing in the mountain’s, would I need to pay for the helicopter? Or is that covered, etc.
Thank you in advance!

Just to note, I’m working full-time
I personally dislike insurance policies that require you to contact them before seeing a doctor. Just to clarify, are you aware of this?
Not sure about the premium as I am not an expert. I definitely pay more, but I am also quite a bit older than you.
About air rescue, people usually join REGA for that. It’s 40 CHF per year for adults: https://www.rega.ch/rega-goenner/goenner-werden#goennerschaft-abschliessen
It looks plausible, especially with your high deductible of 2500.
About the broken arm: That would be covered by accident insurance through your employer, not health insurance.
ETA: Be aware that your teeth are not insured; you’ll have to pay the dentist out of ideally deep pockets.
Well, I used to work at ÖKK, so I know the products.
Basic insurance is the same at any company, the difference is customer service which is normally quite good at ÖKK. You can check here what the most affordable insurance is: [Priminfo.ch](https://www.priminfo.admin.ch/de/praemien) (unfortunately onöy in German)
ÖKK Start covers you with rescue costs but note this: If you have an accident, your accident insurance will have to pay. This is covered by your employer. It’s an okay package but overpriced. I personally like the Helsana Completa better, it covers more stuff (not working there), offers more for your money. Ah, and it’s possible to have different basic and additional insurance provider.
Natur Mini is unnecessary, coverage is a joke. Save that money, you can exclude it.
Prävention is worth it if you go to the gym, do lots of sport or have a bike. They’ll pay you up to a certain amount, ask for details. Otherwise not really interesting.
Important: ÖKK will give you english forms, their sales tool is able to do that. Don’t sign anything in German.
