It’s good. Until people take the piss and bring their kid everytime they have a runny nose and cold.
I think it’s a great initiative. But they really need to work on securing more GPs in Ireland. It’s hard enough for people to find a GP and this isn’t going to help that issue.
I assume they are increasing medial staff to deal with the increased demand ?
Time to dig out the old school uniform
Who do they feel the need to do this? You will have every auld one bringing little precious to the GP over a sniffle. It’s just leads to abuse.
Ideally, we would have a health system that offers free gp care for everyone, but I feel like this will put pressure on our overburdened doctors.
Does this come with more GPs though? While the initiative is certainly most welcome but without extra GP capacities this will just squeeze out working peasants from the medical care …
