Newly formed farmers alliance party twitter account following some of Irelands worst far right trash. A bad sign.

  1. I am in no way affiliated with the Farmers Alliance Party.

  2. I see Tracey O’Mahony is still banging the drum. Her “organisation” were responsible for supplying template letters for anti-maskers to send to retailers when they were asked to wear a mask on premises during the pandemic. I’d link it but don’t want to generate clicks. It’s easy enough to find if you’re so inclined.

  3. I can’t see this party gaining much popularity among farmers if they go down the racist stranger danger route. The vast majority of farmers and the general public don’t want a racist nonsense party elected.

  4. Farmers vote for who their father voted for, land is a funny old thing in how it makes a person avoid any risk or change. This lot could declare they will fill the Dáil with actual farmers if elected and they still won’t pick up many farmer votes.

  5. Party will be dead on arrival, Aontú, Renua, and National Party’s election results show that a staunch conservative or far-right policy doesn’t have any appeal large enough to be politically relevant

  6. I really don’t know why the Farmer’s Alliance Party have positioned themselves as a far right leaning political party. There’s very little votes to be had in embracing far right ideology. And I doubt that (most) farmers would give a shit about far right ideology anyway.

Then again, Mattie McGrath is a goon for the far right now.
