  1. Full quote:

    > *Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has called on partners to provide Taurus and ATACMS missiles as soon as possible.*
    >
    > “Long-range missiles have proved crucial. This is why Taurus and ATACMS are essential for Ukraine’s success, and we ask partners to provide them as soon as possible. Both will be used solely inside our borders. The longer the missile range, the shorter the war,” Kuleba wrote on the social platform X (formerly known as Twitter), Ukrinform reports.
    >
    > As reported, the German federal government said that the transfer of Taurus missiles to Ukraine is not being currently considered.
    >
    > Taurus cruise missiles have a range of over 500 kilometers, can penetrate bunkers and are considered difficult to intercept.
    >
    > Yuriy Ignat, the spokesman for the Air Force of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, said that Taurus long-range missiles could strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities significantly.

  2. Bigger the bomb, shorter the war.

So send them 10 nuke to be “inspect” in Ukraine.
If Ukraine lost them in Russia, I suppose shit happen:)

    Hopium, but they deserve it.

  3. It’s considered that ATACMS would be ineffective against any infrastructure protected by s300/400, it’s not the wonder weapon that will change the direction of the war.

Taurus tho, yeah will be very effective.

  4. Something is happening around Taurus and ATACMS. There is too much news about them. I hope the decision is close.

  5. If Ukraine doesn’t win, then Russia will attack Europe through Belarus next. Does Berlin want the Russians back?

  6. From the same Kuleba tweet:

    > Both will be used solely inside our borders.

    vs.

    >The longer the missile range, the shorter the war

The latter means they will not honor the former? No need for 1000km range if you only plan on striking targets inside your border. Looking at [liveuamap](https://liveuamap.com/), no point of temporarily occupied Ukraine is less than 300km away from a point under Ukrainian control.

Or was that just politician speak without substance since he wanted a good one liner?
