When I went to sign for a property at the council, there were 2 families waiting to be seen because the owner was “selling up”
Aren’t evictions adjudicated by the judiciary? If so then it’s not the useless government that needs looking at.
Also, tell us why they were evicted please.
And I thought the ban was on “no fault” evictions only, please tell me if I am mistaken.
They know that their voters are all homeowners and landlords so no rush
Section 21 has happened to about 5 private renters in my area! Not one was for the benefit of the owner moving back in or selling up! Shock they got new tenants in at absolutely disgusting price rises. It’s pure greed but guess what all your MPs are landlords why would they fix the system.
Plenty of single people are getting evictions too, not just families. I got a no fault eviction last month and although I’ve been lucky to find somewhere else, it’s seven miles from where I currently am in the middle of nowhere and it’s going to leave me cut off from my support. No fault evictions are bullshit.
