Country is at full employment so this is no surprise.
Doesn’t give the figures for the UK which would be important for us as a lot of our graduates go there.
Once again Ireland is great.
This is one of those really positive things that flys in the face of all the naysayers on here who paint Ireland as a an awful place. As with several other metrics, the country is right up there with the Nordics and despite clear issues in daily Irish life, the country is more than holding its own economically with its European neighbours. Go to the Canada sub, the Australian sub, the UK sub……you’ll see all the same housing and cost of living complaints.
However, despite its apparent wealth, the capital is such an underwhelming place and I often am embarrassed about how “middle of the road” it is in comparison to the spectacular western seaboard and other cities like Brisbane or Toronto (fair enough, they aren’t European). It may be optical in nature but the capital needs a bloody facelift (apologies in advance for going off topic).
