2. Big guy tried to murder a cop
3. Big guy tried to keep cops away physically, and those cops didn’t draw guns or tasers, or try to surround him
4. People trying to help cop with probably a brain injury
5. Some random people ran by to go after the guy with rifles (I assume undercover cops?)
6. They arrested the guy
This seems to be a very random crime without context and a very strange response by the police. I am not sure I get it from the article (my dutch isn’t amazing yet).
Why are we giving them guns for?
Sometimes women get that brave when someone in their team, group or family is harmed. Similar to a mother hen. It doesn’t matter if the attacker is bigger, “how dare they come after our own ”
But seriously it’s scary that one man could injury three cops.
Like what kind of tactile training are the Police getting.

I am an expat student from Tibet who visited Belgium first time this year (staying for 2 years). Felt like the place is run by goons from middle east. Thank heaven Leuven is little better. I still do not understand why do they have to assert “dominance” in such childish ways. They are the ones who ran away from their home like we did. Have some decency for the love of your ego.
