Finnish born somali just wanted to share my dna test from Finland

  1. General question not aimed specifically at the OP nor criticism.

When you are born into (and presumably a citizen of) one country when do you stop being something else, e.g. a child of Finnish parents born in India (or any country).

An Indian Finn sounds strange, I know Americans love to chain current and ‘remote’ heritage.

Where does it stop? Children of a child born elsewhere?

Ignore country specific rules/dual nationality here.

  2. To me this seems too professionally produced with the perfect music to be something a normal person would just put together to share. Seems like a professional produced social media product placement content meant to look like it was made by some random person.

  3. Hey as in indian born in Finland, I’d be delighted to do a DNA test. Can you please link me the site of the company that you got it done from? Any idea how accurate they are?

    Edit:

Right, so I paid more attention and noticed it’s written on the video 🤦‍♂️

  4. That’s cool!
It would be nice to hear opinions on these dna sites. Personally, wouldn’t like the idea of a company collecting my dna. Is the test linked to the myheritage account or is it done somehow anonymously?
