It seems as though a significant event has been approaching for a decade but will never materialize. Please take more steps to make good progress like this.

If we work hard, we could solve this crisis in less than ten years since we sent a man to the moon in less than ten years and constructed an atomic weapon in less than five.

So we may need more [pumped storage](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pumped-storage_hydroelectricity#Worldwide_use) in Europe. Not only as a battery but also as a back-up fresh water reservoir.
