All the glaciers have melt, the sea rose by 70 m. Now that Rome is underwater, what is the new capital of Italy, provided the country stil exists as it today ? Where would the capital city be, what would be its name ? Carte blanche, be creative !

1. Firenze mi sembra la scelta più logica (dal punto di vista strategico).

2. Florence would have a great natural harbour, opened on the Mediterranean. It could bena better choice rather than Milan, more open to the sea and closed in the top of the adriatic, to easy to block access to the rest of Mediterranean sea.

8. Florence, but honestly the scenario is very catastrophic difficult to predict, new world wars might be triggered. Italians might want to annex territories that has always been considered Italian but held by other countries, like Corsica, Italian Switzerland or Istria.
