I love that someone actually likes these. These are something you will get as a gift, like EVERY christmas and usually multiple boxes.
Among my friends, this is known as the ‘I do not love you-box of chocolates’. No one wants to get this from a friend or a relative, but you get 10 each year. Why? Because the person in question doesn’t know you or care enough to get you something you actually want. It is a cheap way to buy one’s way out from the burdens of gift giving. Most often one would be better of with simply giving the money instead, at least if we are speaking of younger folk.
The chocolate ain’t bad though.
Did you like the pineapple one? That is one of the biggest arguments within Finns whether it is the best or the worst. A bit like blue cheese, some people love it and some people hate it (and then there’s people like me who just eat it without debating about it 😀 )
It’s also a great way to judge a persons character. I have seen people I really liked go for the second layer when the first is not finished. One of them even calls themself a leftist!
That’s unnecessary expensive chocolate but yes, delicious
Got a couple of boxes from different brands on after-Christmas sales, as is tradition. I don’t have a very sweet tooth so a box lasts about a month.
The seashell shaped chocolate truffle ones are the best, but the mint ones are also great after coffee.
I always eat the mint and white chocolate ones first if given the chance, don’t much care about the truffle and crisp.
Its bad
Indeed we do. There is however a false rumor circulating, that the best one would be Chocolate Crisp. Obviously false!
Everyone knows that the Soft Caramel wins with both visual appeal and texture – not to mention taste!
The flowers are my favorite 🤤
When i was kid we had every year these chocolates. Whit empty box i put one of those plastic candy holders upside down back in box and played that i have laptop.
If you like these, then the Fazer Collection ones (not ”klassikot” or ”moments”) will blow your mind. Also Neuhaus and Lindt make pretty good chocolate.
Are you being sarcastic? They taste LIKE chocolate but definitely not chocolate
What? A red “Juhlapöydän konvehteja” box?
What was your favorite
Oh yeah, them’s the good ones. Enjoy!
The amazing quality of the food was one of the biggest shocks moving here. I had no clue just how bad the god in North America was until I ate stuff without all the fillers in it.
Anything is better than the Alladin choc box. When I moved here it was soo much better, now it went downhill, so much so that it hurts my soul.
