Based on the quality of Tory candidates put forward for election at the 2019 potato harvest I’m doubtful they’re hiding dozens of future political titans down the back of the sofa.
No one should replace them, MPs are leeches on the economy on par with the monarchy or landlords. Turn up, accept bribes to vote on a particular issue, return home to mansion. Bunch of clowns.
Its a real worry for me that so many MPs are stepping down. It means they have no fear at all of annoying the constituents they’re supposed to be representing.
Be interesting what the Tory manifesto will be. I know there not worth the paper their written on (for any party as they all lie), but whatever they pledge you can legitimately argue “why havent you done this in the previous 12yrs”
