How many whims it’s only summer and it’s the central week of August, what do you want snow?
Well, I guess someone had to balance out the nice and mild summer we have been having up here.
here it has been raining for the last 4 weeks
Damn, that is very hot. In July it was also very hot here (not 45°C od course) but now it’s 26°C where I am, great for going on the beach (the beaches on Lake Ohrid are just as good as the sea)
50⁰C in Iraq and Marocco are also reported. Fortunately for locals, it’s also quite dry so huminidy don’t turn air temperature into steam cooker and they “only” had extreme heat. Gotta love climate change turning chunk of world into unhabitable wasteland.
When i was around 10 years old (20 years ago), we still had asphalt streets and during summers like this, it would melt and you’d either have to walk on roads or go through the gummy sludge the streets turned into.
I kinda miss it. I would put my hand into it to leave a mark.
