  1. I can’t read the article, but I’m sure the two following things are mentioned.

    1. ESB networks doesn’t sell to domestic customers. Electric Ireland does, and didn’t make a profit last year as it gave all customers a 50 euro credit.

    2. ESB networks doesn’t directly choose the price it gets paid for electricity. The highest bidder does.
