If someone feels that charging motorists is the way to go then that should surely be contingent on a city having a top class public transport system. I don’t drive into town and am lucky enough that public transport is very handy for me but that’s not the case for a huge number of people who rely on cars getting about. Needs more nuance if anything.

Is there a part of this manifesto that involves harsher (actual) sentencing for violent gangs?
Punish drivers because the state can’t be bothered to do its job? Congestion charges are stupid and they are especially stupid in Dublin
