I have parked my car just next to the black P sign in a zone. However, on the inner side of the P sign it says that parking is forbidden. Normally, if not additionally shown, the rule for parking applies after the sign, not in front of it.

Extra context: It was parked outside of CBS Solbjerg Plads Campus (I have a permit there).
I have sent an inquiry and they have responded with: Det fremgår af parkeringsvagtens fotos, at der er parkeret på et område, hvor der er skiltet med parkering forbudt.
Should I resubmit an inquiry stating what I just said?
