The immigration agreement with the UK drew a reaction in Turkey: Sources say that deportations will only cover Turkish citizens living illegally in the UK, not third country citizens transiting through Turkey.

  1. After the imfamous deal with EU, I don’t believe that’ll only cover illegal Turkish immigrants. Apart from it, it’s really shady because UK basically will have a say over Turkish national security too, which is a big reason of backlash here, normally.

  2. Why do we keep signing these shady immigration agreements that screw us over?

  3. I do not think covering only Turkish citizens will help much as Turkey sell citizenship like it’s a cheese.

Also they could just send them to Uganda as they are better in democracy index than Turkey and at the end probably their economy will be better than us.
